Lipan Christmas 2025 Drone Video!

Thank you so much Tj & Amy Smith with Polestar Visual for capturing the day so perfectly.

From the market with 35 vendors to about 30 participants in the parade, the whole day was perfect. Lipan showed up and I’m so grateful. The downtown lighted area looks amazing and will be up throughout the month. Thank you Austin Marrs and crew for all your help.

The Grand Marshall, Brad Harrison, kicked off the parade escorted in a Twilight Metal Rig from Luke & Courtney Anderson, and various businesses, organizations, and individuals followed throughout the town making it a memorable night.

The food, drinks, & treats were great! Thank you Lipan BBQ team , Sugs, Lipan Laundry, & Ace Beauty House.
Thank you to the sponsors, helping hands, businesses, organizations and everyone else for making Lipan Christmas so great!

A post to thank everyone Individually is to come, but for now enjoy the video!

🎅🏼❤️🎄

Now let’s start planning Lipan Christmas 2026 🤪

It is a bring at your own risk, and everyone is liable for themselves.

The Grand Marshall for the Lipan Christmas Parade this year is, Brad Harrison!
If you’ve spent anytime in Lipan, you know who Brad is and the impact he has made on the community.
Brad has spent his entire life giving back to others in various roles throughout the years.
Brad was raised in Lipan, and graduated in 1986. After graduating from Tarleton, Brad returned to teach Ag at Lipan High School, and retired this year after 33 years. During this time he met his wife Tracey and put his two kids, Trent and Madi through Lipan school. Brad’s official title may have been the ag teacher; however, his influence on the students and community has been much more than that. Whether your animal is sick, your car is making a weird noise, you need hay baled, some dozer work done, help selling your house, or anything in between, you probably have called Brad. Brad would give the shirt off of his back for anyone he meets, and all he asks in return is for someone to listen to whatever witty one liner comes to his mind.
Since retirement, Brad has enjoyed doing real estate full time, more date nights with Tracey, and spending time with his kids in college.
Thank you Brad for everything you have done for the community, there are no words that can properly articulate how appreciated you are.

Merry Christmas! ❤️🎄💗🎅🏻 📸 Mandi Simmons Photography

It was an honor to orchestrate Lipan Christmas. I’m so glad I was able to bring the Christmas Parade back to town. I’m hoping it continues to grow better each year and bring the community together.

It took a crew to pull off Lipan Christmas, and I’m thankful for mine! Next year we will make some changes to make it a smoother process, but overall I’d say Lipan Christmas was a success! Thank you everyone, and here’s to Lipan Christmas 2025!

Reposting this for memories & a way to keep all Lipan Christmas stuff together.
LIPAN CHRISTMAS 2024 GRAND MARSHALLS:
John & Beth Howard 💙💛🎄

The Grand Marshalls for the Lipan Christmas parade this year are John & Beth Howard, owners of The Lipan Telephone Company. If you live in Lipan, you know who the Howard’s are and their impact on the community. John Howard’s family started the Lipan Telephone Company back in 1956, John & Beth became the sole owners in 2009. John was born & raised in Lipan, while Beth came to town in 1979. They got married in 1992, and have raised three kids, Brandon, Lacie, and Weldon in Lipan. The Howard’s have contributed to every school function possible, always pulling through & showing up for the kids. From athletics, FFA, NHS, etc. John and Beth always support the kids & faculty. No matter how big or small the need is, they help. The Howard’s contribute to more than the school. You’ll notice they sponsor the LVFD Kickapoo Festival, Lipan Food Bank, and every time there’s a tragedy amongst the community, the Howard’s make sure to help out any way they can.
John & Beth Howard will lead the Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 14th at 5:30 Pn through downtown Lipan.
