Koi fish anyone?
I absolutely love the way this came out. I got inspired by a video I saw of a person drawing a koi fish in pencil, but the technique they used reminded me a lot of techniques used in body painting. I watched the video several times and then just had the urge to paint it and this is my outcome!
I have tried so hard to find the video again, but can't seem to find it!
Sorry it's been a while since I've posted an update! I've been pretty busy lately! But I did get some time to sit down a paint a little this afternoon!
These are done on my practice sheet! When I first tried it out I didn't like it. I decided to give it another go today and I'd say it worked out pretty well! 😊
It does take the paint FOREVER to dry though!
Also, don't mind the giant purple marks on the cheeks of that one. I was testing out some weird looking stencils. 😅
So our day yesterday started out a little crazy because of rain. It rain on us twice in little bursts. We stuck it out and once it stopped the kids flocked my booth. We nearly packed up and left a few times but I'm so happy we stayed. It was amazing making kids smile!
Once kids lined up I got so excited and busy I forgot to snag a picture of a single design I did on anyone. 😅
Overall though it was an amazing day. I can't wait to do it again, and I definitely want to volunteer my time for them next year 😊
