🌟⭐️Keeping Things Fresh Deposit and Upfront Payment Policy⭐️🌟
Keeping Things Fresh operates on a secured booking system to ensure every event receives the time, preparation, and individualized attention it deserves. The following policies apply to all catering services.
Upfront Payment Requirement
All events require payment in full once the food order has been placed. Payment confirms your menu selections, secures your event date, and allows the purchasing and preparation process to begin. No items are held and no date is guaranteed until payment has been received.
Deposit Policy
A deposit is required for every event. This deposit is nonrefundable under all circumstances. The deposit secures your date exclusively, as Keeping Things Fresh does not schedule more than one event on the same day or weekend. This reflects the commitment of time, planning, and resources dedicated to each client and is standard practice across the catering industry.
Refunds and Cancellations
Monies paid toward your event will be returned only if cancellation occurs at least four weeks prior to the event date. If you booked and paid less than four weeks before your event, the likelihood of receiving a full refund is low. Any items already purchased for your event may be provided to you in place of reimbursement.
All refunds will have the nonrefundable deposit deducted before the remaining balance is issued.
Date Changes
If you need to change your event date, Keeping Things Fresh will gladly accommodate the request if the new date is available. If the new date is not available, the event cannot be moved and will be treated as a cancellation. Any refundable monies will be returned according to the four week policy, and the deposit will remain nonrefundable.
Why These Policies Exist
Catering an event requires extensive behind the scenes work long before the day arrives. This includes researching and sourcing the best prices on goods, planning menus, coordinating décor and color themes, communicating with clients, and preparing for the size and needs of the gathering. This work is completed in advance and represents a significant investment of time and resources. The deposit reflects this preparation and ensures fairness to both the client and the business.
