Yesterday, August 16, I had the absolute best time hosting a Bloom Bar with United by Culture Media at the Courageous Mujer Retreat.

When I walked in, the energy, spirit, and power of the women there was incredible. The best part for me was seeing so many familiar faces. From people I worked with at Lex Public Schools to some of my students. Those are some of my favorite people, and I miss them dearly from teaching. Bringing a little nature, healing, and peace into their hearts meant so much because I know how hard they work. Honestly, it brought tears to my eyes.

I am so thankful to Gladys Godinez, founder of United by Culture Media, for supporting the beautiful cultures in our state and for working hard to make this retreat day so special.
