Under very special circumstances did I have the opportunity to meet both of these individuals. Ms. A, I met through another dear friend who lost her daughter to childhood cancer, a DIPG tumor on her brain stem. DITF held a fundraiser for this little girl and through difficult circumstances Ms. A and I became very close friends. There is more to the story, however I'll save that for another time. I have had the opportunity to both inspire and encourage in Ms. A to go to college and have had the opportunity to watch her grow over the past year. However, I would like her to know through her growth, she too has inspired me more than she knows!
