We've learned (maybe the hard way) that little details have a funny way of becoming BIG when the wedding day arrives, and a quick check-in now can save you a lot of “wait… who’s doing that?” later.

Utah summer weddings mean 100°F outside and 47 things happening at once 😂

We've joked and said that we should only work from Fall to Spring, but two things:

1. Summer is the busiest season in the wedding industry, so it wouldn't be very smart of us.

2. We miraculously get a break to look up and see views like this while the couple is happy and everything is coming together.

That's when we say "okay, maybe it’s worth sweating through the dress" 🙃

Would we coordinate in 100° again? Probably. Most likely. Absolutely🏔️💜

My turn! 🙋🏻‍♂️

My wedding was exactly one year after Naz's wedding, and after that "busy" experience (for lack of a better word 🤪), my husband and I knew we needed help on the day of.

We had servers provided by the catering company, cleaners provided by the venue, my SIL overseeing the dessert table and charcuterie boards, and Naz, her husband, and other friends helping with the setup and organization throughout the day. 💜

Yet somehow, hubby and I were still answering questions, telling vendors where to go, and helping everyone find what they needed.

HOW?

We had so much help, and we still got stressed out.

That made us realize how important a wedding coordinator is and what a difference one can make, because we had to go through a whirlwind to recognize it.

Turns out, dreaming about your wedding and running it are two very different jobs. We help with the second one 😉 (and support the first one, too!)

Of course, it started with... us 😅

It was my wedding day in April of 2024, and I was the opposite of a stressed-out bride 👰🏻

I was a way-too-chill and extremely relaxed bride who got in the bridal room to get my hair and makeup done, and let everyone else take care of EVERYTHING.

They could do whatever; I just didn't want to hear anything from anyone, and my only instruction was "make it look cute" 🤷🏻‍♀️

That worked pretty well for me, but not so well for my friends and family.

Jhon and his husband were going nuts trying to put all the pieces together, and my MIL didn't stop running the whole day.

So while I got to relax, I realized that strategy was very unfair for my loved ones, who became wedding coordinators instead of being guests enjoying the moment.

The seed was there, but we still needed a final push before starting Arden...

Things are finally blooming…🪻

This is Arden, and behind this little, new brand there are two friends who have gone through the rollercoaster that is planning their own weddings and helping coordinate each other’s wedding on the day of.

We realized that it’s not cool to have your bestie be vendor manager, decorator, timeline designer, and emergency kit holder, all at the same time. Really, not cool.

We don’t want other couples making the same mistake, so now we offer wedding coordination services and planning support so they can skip straight to the good part of their weddings and their besties can go back to holding dresses and retouching makeup. 💄
