Returning clients will forever be my favorite 💖 New ones who come in saying “I’ve seen your work and I trust you” are a very close second but it’s the ones who have supported from the beginning that are the real MVP.

Being a business owner is a lot; so much goes in to it, a plethora of hats are worn, tons of hours worked, you’re constantly learning something new or trying different things to figure out what works best. It can get overwhelming and doubts can creep in.

BUT prayer and faith are an unstoppable combination and I rely on them heavily. For me, it’s the returning clients that provide confirmation I’m doing things right.

The other weekend I had to just stop for a second and be grateful. The two women who have supported me from the very beginning both booked me for the same weekend. What are the odds? It was just kind of a full circle moment as OHD approaches 2 years. Combined, they have booked with me 10+ times since became official. They believe in me and trust me to be a part of so many important moments for them and that’s major.

New clients are always welcome, but making them into returning clients is forever the ultimate goal 🎉💖

Y’all I’m not even going to lie… when the client reached out about balloons for a crawfish boil, I had so many design hesitations.

What colors? Is red and white only too basic? Should I add in yellow? Is this giving crawfish guts? 😂 Are these lobsters or crawfish balloons? Can these marble ones get here in time? Why in the world is shipping $30 for these link balloons, is it worth having?

This is why I am so glad I took a class to learn how to do mock up designs! I was able to keep working at it and came up with something I feel turned out even better in real life.

Last night, I attended a backdrop masterclass that focused on created digital mock-ups. Someone suggested a “First Farm” theme and this is what I created… to say I’m excited and inspired is a major understatement! No more hand drawn stretches for me!!

Going forward, all clients who have paid a retainer will receive a digital mock-up for approval. You may request up to 2 revisions, anything after that will require a small additional fee as these take time and major effort.

I have loved and appreciated all my clients this far who have blindly and fully trusted my ability to create something they will enjoy but WE ARE LEVELING UP!

Now somebody come pay a retainer so I can make you one of these and then bring it to real life 💖✨🎉
