Roots in a tank

Something to think about. Today was a day filled with roots. Everyone loves a good shade tree but when you plant trees, especially maples, don’t plant them close to your septic system. Roots go to water, which more than likely will cause you problems with your system in the future. Roots can become invasive to your tank or field lines which can get into your clean out. These tanks were full of roots. It’s important to call a company that know what they’re doing to give you guidance on how to handle these types of situations. We had an opportunity to stop in at Amish Country Store in Ethridge and grab lunch today. It is a really neat little spot and the food was really good. Service was great and we really enjoyed meeting the folks there. Support local businesses every chance you get. It’s what keeps our community goin.

We are so saddened to share the news that Sam passed away peacefully in his sleep early this morning, April 26. His family has been notified, and we will share additional information as we receive it. As you all know, we all lost a true horseman. Please share your favorite Sam stories in the comments.
