Alex + Mary - The Proposal

Alex slid into my messages with one hell of a plan: he was ready to pop the question to Mary, and he wanted to make sure she’d say “yes” somewhere unforgettable (no pressure, right?). So, like two wedding-obsessed secret agents, we spent days scouting and discussing locations, checking lighting, and plotting every detail. We finally picked the pathway before the fountain at Ted Ensley Gardens (romantic enough to make even the geese jealous). There was even a backup plan, just in case Kansas decided to throw a tornado at us for laughs.

And, of course, everything went off perfectly. Overcast skies? Sure. A little chilly? Welcome to the Midwest, fam. But the second she said yes, that garden lit up, and for the next thirty minutes, these two couldn’t stop grinning. I just kept clicking away, freezing every “holy crap, this is real” moment for them.

Honestly? I’m pumped for these two. This was just their prologue. The rest of the story is going to be one hell of a ride.

Cate and Nick leaned in like it was a Nicholas Sparks trailer.
It sprinkled just enough to feel cinematic.
Twirling and grinning like the main characters they are. Overlook Park gave us mood, texture, and a hint of a sunset.
Ten out of ten. Would third-wheel again.
