Dear friends and valued customers,

With mixed emotions, I want to share that Karen Bunal’s Home-cooked Catering Services here in California, the time has come for our family to close this chapter, because we’re moving back to Korea! 🇰🇷✈️

This move is extra special because Korea is where my catering journey first began. It's where I first dreamed up flavors, plated my passion, and served meals from the soul. And now, I'm thrilled to return to where it all started.

To all of you who’ve supported me in California, through every order, event, and sweet message, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped me grow, create, and believe in what I do. I’ll forever carry those memories with me.

While we say goodbye (for now) to my California kitchen, this isn’t the end, just a homecoming. I’m excited to keep doing what I love in Korea and share new stories from across the world.

Sydney’s Amazing Sweet 16 💕🎂

Our beautiful Sydney, she is like a daughter to me. Finally turned 16! What an honor it was to cater this special day for someone so dear to our hearts. She’s not just Sabrina’s BFF. She’s family. 💗

On her big day, we served all of Sydney’s favorite dishes, ones she’s grown to love over many visits to our home. From her #1 favorite Beef Pares to creamy Fettuccine Alfredo, Garlic Rice, and of course, crispy Lumpia, Pancit Bihon, Leche Flan, Ube Biko, and with my signature cookies must be in the menu. Every dish was chosen with love, just for her. Even served her mangoes because I know she loves it, too.

Thank you so much to Sydney and your amazing family for the trust and love. Celebrating with you all was truly special. We love you, Sydney! May your 16th year be as beautiful and sweet as you are. 🌸✨

In the past two weeks, I had the joy of catering for two amazing graduates, and I couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments. But nothing compares to the overwhelming pride and emotion I feel today.

My very own son, my one and only, has officially graduated from college!🎓👨‍🎓

It’s an unexplainable feelin. Gratitude, joy, pride, love, all wrapped into one. I’ve catered many events, but this one will always hold a special place in my heart.

Grateful for another successful catering for my sweet Rae! This lady is so dear to me. ✨️🤍✨️ She and her family are repeat customers and regular clients. This was my second big catering with them, and they frequently order food trays as well.

This family has always been so incredibly kind to me, each and every one of them! They are truly one of the best.
