I have written this countless times and still struggle to find the words to express how much the last 6 years have meant to me. In 2015, I took a big chance and left my full-time corporate job to start my own photography business after working for other photographers for several years. It was a difficult but incredibly rewarding career change for me. In the last 6 years, I have been honored to witness and document so many moments of love and joy. I have photographed your engagements, weddings, and babies as your families grew. I've cried with you during vows and toasts, danced with you in ballrooms, cabins, and lake-side, and smiled with you on mountain tops as we shared a sunrise or sunset together.

With the COVID-19 Pandemic, I endured a lot of life-changes—as I'm sure you all did as well. Suddenly, I couldn't photograph anyone and the source of much of my happiness and contentment in life was no longer accessible. For this, and many other reasons, I decided to go to graduate school and return to some of my other passions. As I near the end of my graduate program and find myself in this new season of life, I've made the incredibly difficult decision to close Forever June Photography. I wish I could say that I am 100% excited for this change, but truthfully, I am heartbroken. Though I know this is the right choice for me and my family, it doesn't make it hurt any less.

With my business closing at the end of this year, the online gallery site will go offline soon. If you haven't already, please access your online galleries at your earliest convenience and download the files to several safe places. Please print your photos! They deserve to be seen and shared with your loved ones—don't let them live on a computer.

My email address & Instagram account will still be active for the foreseeable future, so please reach out if you ever need me.

Thank you for trusting me with some of your most precious life moments. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives so fully. Thank you for everything.

If you’ve been following me for a while you know how excited I get by wild weather. Rain, wind, fog - you name it. The energy and unknown that comes with a sudden change in weather is exciting and fuels me as a photographer. When you have crazy weather and add a couple that is laid-back, flexible, and happy to have photos representative of real life and less “perfect”, you get magic. Yes, the sky really looked like that! We stood in the rain beneath a hazy sky and celebrated Connor & Maegan’s marriage without a care in the world. Forever thankful for flexible & fun couples ❤️

Hi friends! I am not great with keeping up with Facebook, both my personal and business pages. This page is not very active, but I want to make it known that I am actively participating in the Black Lives Matter movement and doing everything I can to help . However, I have been sharing BLM resources on my Instagram and I’d love for you to head over there and spend some time. I need you to in fact. Join me in learning, researching, and listening. We can all do better and we have to take responsibility for our part in the continuation of systemic racism. It’s well past the time to try to make a change, and there’s no giving up until change happens. It’s going to be a long haul, meaning a life-long commitment to being actively anti-racist. We have to teach our kids, confront our friends and families, and listen to Black voices.

I know life is pretty tough out there for a lot of people. I have trouble finding the “right” words of encouragement to share, so I won’t. Instead I’ll offer advice that has always helped me and that is to give yourself permission to feel however you feel right now. Angry, sad, scared, whatever. It’s all valid. Know you’re not alone and that I am just a phone call away if you need some virtual social interaction or someone to vent to. Bluer skies and lighter days are ahead of us, this won’t last forever. P.S. please.

Opened the 2020 wedding season with this insanely gorgeous couple. They have impeccable style and I cannot wait to share more from their wedding!
