Because of the security management team who made our deaf guest waiting line better and cooperated with us by signing "I.D." and guiding more deaf guests to enter the right line instead of general admission line. We were in the shorter line like VIP entry. Honestly, this place is pretty crowded but we were able to hang out and have fun at the 5th floor. She also provided us with an accessibility kit which was in compliance with the ADA. We didn't end up using such outdated equipment, but it was a nice gesture. I would suggest they update their kit to include a videophone as it is how myself and my friends place telephone calls. Thanks MGM grand for being deaf-friendly... - echo". "One of our friends were able to receive a text to let us know it's our turn due to being on a waiting list for an hour...a waitress already prepared notepads and pens for two separated tables (there were more than 4 people)...the staff use gestures to ask a few questions, such as "is everything good?" The light inside the restaurant is somewhat dimmed during at night; nevertheless, the service overall was deaf-friendly. I hope the entire staff (and future staff) will be trained and aware how to be deaf-friendly. - Marlene". We had a great time and enjoyed our experiences. We didn't have any communication barrier at the front desk since they were well-prepared for deaf guests. They also hired a couple of interpreters in case for the check-in registration. Our room wasn't that bad as long as that TV obviously has closed captions. We also played a couple of slot machines and the waitress was very friendly to take some alcoholic drinks for us. The only issue I had is when I asked the cashier to bring me my food instead of call my number out...I would suggest they follow through on taking the extra step to deliver food to the table if a request has been made. It is pretty big and has a nice lighting which is bright enough from the sun. Also, it has a different seating design which is like you can sit down on the every edge of pyramid. My friends and I bought our energized drinks and quick-bite breakfast. The cashier communicated well with us by using paper and pen method. Other staffs were finger-spelling our names in the air in front of about waiting 10+ customers when our order was ready. I was really impressed when she did that which is really awesome.
