Pink + blue could very easily go one direction… gender reveal. 😳
But part of being an artist is knowing how to look past the obvious.
Instead of relying on two literal colors to tell the story, I like to think about the entire composition. The tones, textures, shapes, finishes and all the little details that pull everything together.
It’s about knowing when to soften a color, when to add something unexpected, and how to create enough dimension that pink + blue suddenly doesn’t feel like “pink + blue” anymore.
Same colors. Completely different feeling.
That’s the fun part of designing, taking something that could easily feel predictable and figuring out how to make it feel refined, intentional and a little more Post Worthy.
