To my fellow grown women of faith…
Single. 57. Christian. Fully grown.
It’s not always fun—but it is peaceful.
Sometimes too peaceful.
That kind of peace that creeps in quietly…
until it starts to feel normal.
Where you stop confronting fears and doubts,
because—hey, this version of “healed” looks healthy enough, right?
Or as I like to say, God’s version.
The version of me that can laugh at my imperfections,
own my growth,
and wake up every day just trying to be the best version of His daughter—
whatever that looks like.
Some days it's grace.
Some days it's conviction.
Most days, it's both.
And I'm learning to hold space for all of it.
If you’re navigating singleness like me—
in a world full of DMs from folks "stepping outside their current situation,”
where “all is fair” seems to be the new standard…
you already know it’s not easy out here.
The meet & greets.
The "so tell me about yourself" convos.
The safety checks, energy audits, red-flag detectors.
Whew. It can feel like a whole job.
But I still show up.
Because I’ve decided I will not live the rest of this God-given life without a true partner.
Not a “friend.”
Not a “let’s see what happens.”
Not the ex-friend.
Just not.
And honestly?
As far as dating—it’s looking brighter. ✨
There’s fresh, focused, grown energy.
No more chasing. Just clarity, connection, and a whole lot of prayer.
Peace still trumps all—
at least most days.
And even when it doesn’t, I’m reminded that peace isn’t the absence of chaos—
It’s the presence of trust.
So to every woman who feels this in her spirit—
keep choosing peace.
Keep believing in partnership.
And keep showing up for the version of you that God’s still refining.
