A Wedding Officiant is the individual who performs your ceremony. The Wedding Officiant may be a Minister, a Licensed or Ordained Religious Official, a Military Chaplain or a Notary Public. The State of Nevada recognizes that the performance of marriages and Wedding Ceremonies is a serious (and Legal) responsibility and requires that all Nevada (Wedding) Marriage Officiants MUST hold a valid and current Certificate of Authority to Solemnize Marriages issued by the State of Nevada and the local County Clerk.
