Happy New Year! 2025 gave me more than just weddings and elopements it gave me real connections and so many moments I’ll never forget.

Getting to show up not just as your photographer, but as someone who gets to celebrate with you, laugh with you, and document one of the biggest days of your lives is something I’ll never take for granted.
Thank you to every couple who supported my small business this past year and in the years before whether you booked me, referred me, shared my work, or simply cheered me on.

Sorry for the delay, I’ve been training for the “least active on social media” award. Apparently, you’re supposed to know the guy capturing all those unforgettable moments on your big day. So, hi! I’m Jake, the wedding photographer and videographer who’s usually found wrestling with lighting, herding groomsmen, and occasionally shedding a tear behind the camera (it’s allergies, okay?). Seven years of love stories later, I’m still here because, really, who wouldn’t want a front-row seat to all the cake, happy tears, and questionable dance moves?

After hundreds of weddings, I’ve come to realize there’s nothing quite like the mix of nerves, laughter, and genuine joy that fills a wedding day. Capturing those spontaneous moments, from quiet glances to epic dance floor moves, keeps me hooked. It’s all about the in-between moments the ones you don’t plan for that make each story feel unforgettable.

Outside of weddings, you’ll usually find me exploring the great outdoors, camping, wandering through botanical gardens, or discovering new national parks. When I’m not behind the camera or off adventuring, I’m at home with my two cats, Sagwa and Fufu, who might just think they’re the stars of the show.

Kat & Josh

Kat and Josh’s session at Mt. Charleston was like stepping into a serene wonderland where the air is crisp, the mountains tower above, and love feels even more profound surrounded by nature. The way they moved through the forest, hand in hand, laughing at inside jokes, made this session feel like a breath of fresh air.

We wandered through towering pines and found hidden nooks where the light broke through the trees just right. Kat’s smile lit up the entire scene, and the way Josh looked at her like she was the only person in the world was what every photographer dreams of capturing. There’s something about the mountains that makes everything feel both grounded and limitless at the same time kind of like their love.

Abby and Noah’s engagement session at Nellis Dunes was a beautiful blend of love and the wild desert landscape. Abby’s red dress flowed like a flame against the soft, sandy dunes, while Noah’s neutral outfit brought a serene balance to the scene.

As the sun dipped lower, casting a warm glow across the dunes, I caught a moment where Noah gently adjusted his watch, a simple but significant gesture that spoke volumes about his care and attention. The way Abby’s engagement ring sparkled in the last light of the day, nestled perfectly on her finger, was a reminder of the love they’ve committed to—radiant, timeless, and unbreakable.
