Baby Sylas 5(mo), was born with a congenital heart disease, Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). Roughly 42 of every 10,000 babies in the U.S. are born with a VSD. It's a hole in the wall separating the lower heart chambers (ventricles). that often causes a heart murmur.
Many small VSDs are asymptomatic, and close on their own during infancy or childhood. However, in Sylas's case he was born with a much larger hole which requires medications to help with symptoms and or surgery to repair the hole. He is scheduled for heart surgery on February 24, 2026. In Albuquerque.
Other items will be raffled off [see attached flyer for details.] Along with those I will donate 2 hrs of DJ time.

Another year of DJ'ing for the Special Olympics organization of New Mexico. I've had the honor of DJ'ing this event for the past 10 years or so, at the Las Cruces Convention Center. It was another packed house this year as it is every year I had a great time. A big thanks and shout out to Rhonda the boys lady that runs the event and to Ms. Jenna for filling in for Rhonda this year. I appreciate everyone there that evening thanks again for having me back this year, & God willing I'll recieve the call that I do to see if I'm available next year. God bless, much ❤️ & stay safe. 😎

You know it's October 1st when you come across this guy, as I seen him walking on Telshor this morning. (Another favorite of mine, lol.) I always wanted to wear this costume for halloween, but I just never have. I get busy with putting up lights and decorating the house. I just don't know if there's room for 2 of us though.
Hmm, maybe I could use the slightly burned mask version of Myers from the movie Halloween Kills in 2018.... to be continued. 🔪 🎃 😈

What's good in the 575 Las Cruces? It's crazy to me that October is here already once again. It's my favorite month, my favorite time of the year, I'm so done with summer. My favorite holiday for setting up yard decorations & all of the lights. I'm an October Libra ♎️, I love when the leaves start changing into fall colors, & of course having the honor and pleasure of DJ'ing for all the great people of the Special Olympics of New Mexico.
