I'm sitting in my car, crying...

The anxiety I'm feeling right now is truly overwhelming. I had just 45 minutes to complete this task, and I’m still amazed by how I managed to finish it. Upon arriving, I had to shift everything to a different location and start from scratch. Honestly, I can’t understand how I accomplished this in under 45 minutes. I even ironed the fabric as per the client's request.

Some jobs fill you with joy, while others bring nothing but anxiety. Some you tackle when you're feeling great, and others when you're not at your best. I can only thank God for allowing me to not only finish it but to do it well.

Thank you, Lord, for granting me the strength to complete it and to wear a smile. Even though I felt like screaming, this experience is teaching me the value of serving, even when I’d rather not.

Now it’s time for me to treat myself to a delicious cheeseburger because I truly deserve it.

I wish people understood, you don't get on the calendar without a paid retainer fee. So many potential clients thinking, just telling me they want a date is enough. So sad when they come back 2 months later and the date is booked.... so sad.

Moment of confession.

I realized that I have a control issue when I have the money to hire a professional to decorate my son's graduation party, I have the friends to hire for my son's graduation party, but I'm too much of a control freak so I do it myself. And then I go home and cry because I didn't really get to enjoy everything cuz I was so tired and so beat up from all the work that I did. So I don't even take my own advice when it comes to hiring professionals for events because I'm that much of a control freak. But I will say this and I'm super proud of myself. I did hire a caterer and she did an amazing job. So two finger snaps for that.
