This past weekend we celebrated the 42 year long career of Indianwood's Golf Professional, Dave Zink. Many current and past members came out to celebrate and thank Mr. Zink for his many years of service to the Club and to its Membership. While Dave will be missed in the Pro Shop, we wish him a happy and wonderful retirement with his wife and family!

I can't say enough good things about Indianwood! We stumbled upon it while we were searching for a venue, and we really fell in love! The buildings have so much character, and the initial tour was very to the point (which we enjoyed)! They were priced very fair, compared to some of the other venues....

This past Saturday we hosted our first Social Saturday of the season and celebrated the 148th Kentucky Derby with complimentary Mint Juleps and a Bulleit Bourbon tasting!

Indianwood has a proud history in which four major championships have been played here: 1930 Western Open-Gene Sarazen, 1989 Women’s US Open-Betsy King, 1994 Women’s US Open-Patty Sheehan and 2012 US Senior Open-Roger Chapman.

Hello, everyone. I was hoping that someone could help me track down an old friend of mine after losing touch with him many years ago.
He used to live in Lake Orion, MI. with his Mother right on the lake. I believe her name was Mary. She used to work at a local country club.
The guy's name is Kevin Shaffer (I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling) and would now be in his late 50s. I know he had a brother and I think his name was David. His mother used to own Bullmastiff dogs for a while there but then switched to owning Boxers.
We used to hang out together at a bar in Lake Orion by the name of the Wagon Wheel, where they had live rock bands playing on the weekends.
If anyone can help me find this guy it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Danielle and Tyler were married this past Saturday in Bloomfield Hills. While Covid may have altered their original plans, there was still so much love surrounding them.
Tyler and Danielle heard of me through his best friend Jordan (whom I've captured countless sessions and their own wedding!) and Jordan's brother and his wife (who was also a TMP groom and bride!) and to say I was honored to capture such an amazing day is quite an understatement.
Danielle got ready at her grandparent's estate, as is tradition with her family! Danielle's sister made her wedding gown and she dressed in her father's room that he had growing up and it was the perfect sentimental touch.
While the reception was originally to be held at the estate, with ever changing health variables it was moved to Indianwood Golf and Country Club, however we still made time to go back and take wedding party portraits there. W.O.W.Z.A. Such a treasure.
I had the most wonderful time sharing in their special day. What a beautiful send off to my 2020 wedding season.
