Peacham Lavender Farm of Vermont Welcome to Peacham Lavender Farm, where the blooms are fresh, the vibes are vintage, and our 1962 VW flower truck, Ringo, steals the show! I love lavender!

We grow lavender and seasonal flowers for dreamy DIY weddings, pop-up events, and bouquet bars. Hi, I'm Cindy and I am the Owner of Peacham Lavender Farm of Vermont. I love the scent of lavender, its graceful beauty, and the elegance a bouquet brings to the table. I am an artist, an art teacher, and a lover of all things vintage. Along with my husband, Dan, and daughter, Maggie, we started our lav

ender farm in the summer of 2022. In 2023 we expanded beyond lavender, growing several varieties of flowers. Last "bud" not least, a 1962 VW flower truck, affectionately named Ringo, joined our family. This summer we plan to put the "pedal" to the metal, spreading flower power across Vermont and New Hampshire, offering a build your own flower bar! "Seed" you soon!

Lavender Lemonade 💜

5 cups of water
1 cup lavender sugar or lavender honey (regular sugar or honey will also work)
2 tablespoons dried lavender buds or 1 small (2 oz.) bunch of fresh lavender
2 cups of freshly squeezed lemon juice
Lavender picks or sprigs for garnish

1. Combine the water, sugar or honey, and lavender in a saucepan and heat for approximately 10 minutes or until the mixture begins to boil. Remove from the heat and allow to steep until cool. To speed up the process, place it in the refrigerator.

2. Pour the mixture through a colander or cheesecloth into a pitcher. Add the lemon juice and stir. Serve in glasses with ice and garnish with lavender picks or sprigs of fresh lavender.

(If you’re short on time, you can use your favorite store-bought lemonade and add 1 bunch of fresh culinary lavender, or a tea infuser with dried culinary lavender; let it sit in the fridge overnight for an incredible infused lavender-lemonade.)

Still feeling so inspired to bring some of the magic of Provence, France home to Vermont!

It was such an incredible experience and we can’t wait to explore the new ideas we have.

After 17 days traveling across Europe, my heart (and suitcase) are finally home in Vermont! 🩵 The last few days were pure magic… but maybe that’s because I was in lavender country, otherwise known as Provence, France.

Imagine this: endless rows of lavender, side-by-side with endless rows of grapevines. The vineyards and lavender fields bordered one another like beautiful brushstrokes across the hills, no matter where you looked, it was breathtaking.

My final stop was the mountaintop town of Sault, during their annual lavender festival 🌿💜. Hundreds of lavender farms and artisans came together, some producing bundles of fresh blooms, others creating everything from Provençal herbs to lavender honey. The sheer scale was unbelievable!

Walking through the fields, and seeing the sophisticated French harvesting techniques and learning about their agricultural practices was a dream for this lavender farmer’s heart.

One day, I hope to return when the fields are in peak bloom, but for now, my mind is buzzing with ideas and my soul is still in Provence.

✨Meet Edelweiss, our absolute favorite lavender cultivar!

These dreamy white blooms aren’t just beautiful, they’re also powerfully fragrant. The oil content in Edelweiss is very high, and the scent is soft, floral, and totally unforgettable.

While the flowers do dry to a brown (not ideal for bouquets), what Edelweiss lacks in dried color, it more than makes up for in aroma. It’s perfect for:

🤍Sachets
🤍Soaps
🤍Crafts & drawer liners
🤍Anything that needs a touch of luxe lavender scent!

What would you want to make with Edelweiss?

On Thursday we were joined by my 83-year old father who helped us hang the very last of our lavender harvest for this year.

And we saved the best for last… Edelweiss is my absolute favorite cultivar! 💜
