Some losses leave us completely speechless.

Our hearts are with the family and loved ones of Katelyn LeBlanc, whose passing came far too suddenly.
She leaves behind her husband and four beautiful children who are now facing an unimaginable road ahead.

During times like these, words never seem enough. We simply hope this family feels surrounded by love, prayer, and the support of their community in the days, months, and years ahead.

Please join us in praying for comfort, strength, and peace for Katelyn’s family as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.

We had so much fun today making arts and crafts and cards for the wonderful patients of Southern Grace Hospice! We have one more class on August 7th, then will deliver! Fun, fun day!! Thank you Youngsville Chamber of Commerce for letting us have our class at your chamber office!!

🌼🎨 What a wonderful Arts & Crafts Day with Bright Mournings! 🎨🌼

We had so much fun yesterday creating special gifts for the patients of Southern Grace Hospice.

Our young artists painted flower pots, decorated wooden crosses, and made heartfelt cards that will be delivered to hospice patients to brighten their day.

It was a joy to see the children’s creativity, kindness, and compassion shine through each project. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special!

We’re already looking forward to our next Arts & Crafts Days on July 10 and August 7. Spots are still available for children ages 5–10, and we’d love to have your child join us as we continue creating meaningful gifts for hospice patients.

Thank you to KATC-TV 3: Acadiana's Newschannel for taking the time to highlight our upcoming Arts & Crafts Day events and the heart behind them.

This summer, children in our community will have the opportunity to create handmade crafts that will be donated to patients and families served by Southern Grace Hospice. Our hope is that these small acts of kindness bring comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that someone is thinking of them.

At Bright Mournings, we believe that compassion can be taught at any age, and we’re excited to help children experience the joy of giving back while supporting an incredible organization like Southern Grace Hospice.

Thank you to KATC for helping us spread the word, and thank you to everyone who has supported this project. We can’t wait to see the impact these young hearts will make this summer. 💛
