Friendly reminder - IRON MAN is THIS SUNDAY

IRONMAN Traffic Alert - This Sunday, 8/17. Oldham County travel will be impacted from 7:00 AM-1:30 PM. Expect heavy bike traffic and potential delays along the bike course and consider alternative routes. If you need to use the roadways, allow yourself plenty of extra time to reach your destination. Law enforcement and highway department personnel will be stationed along the course for traffic control - please be cautious!

Oldham County Bike Course:
- US-42 from the Jefferson County line to KY-393 N
- KY-393 N to KY-146
- KY-146 to KY-53
- KY-53 to US-42
- US-42 back to the Jefferson County line

There will be a detour via Commerce Parkway for through traffic and trucks.

GATES OPEN 6:30AM | RACE STARTS AT 8AM

IRONMAN 2025 - Here’s the info ℹ️
Sunday August 17th !!

This year’s Ironman competition is being held on Sunday, August 17.

The bike route will once again impact the following local roads: US 42, Hwy 393, Hwy 146, and Hwy 53. I’ve included a map of the bike route below.

While this event does bring tourist to our area and allows us to highlight our communities, there are significant traffic problems during the race. Several roads will be temporarily blocked, so please plan accordingly and expect heavy traffic from mid-morning to early evening.
