After more than 10 years of music, memories, and smiles, Kategory Five is stepping back.

We’ve been honored to bring the party, shake the walls, and take you all on those 3-hour vacations, show after show. From the first note to the last encore, it’s been about more than just music — it’s been about family, friendship, and a community that’s lifted us up and supported us every step of the way.

To every musician that has been a part of Kategory Five through the years with and Joseph and I; Brian David Lee, Travis Strike, Gidget Maxwell, Natalie, Clint, Shaun, and Karina…thank you.

To all of the great venues that support live music and allowed us to perform through the years…thank you.

On Friday, September 26th at The Casual Pint Northshore, we’ll make our final curtain call (for now).

This isn’t just another gig — it’s the culmination of over a decade of music, sweat, laughter, cheers, and nights we’ll never forget. We don’t know what the future holds for Kategory Five, but we do know this: for now, it is time to step away, breathe, and close this chapter with gratitude.

One last show. One last night together. One last chance to sing, dance, and celebrate everything we’ve shared.

Mark your calendars, raise a glass, and come be part of the sendoff. Let’s make September 26th a night worthy of the journey.
