Yesterday's meet up event was so much fun! 💐

Getting to spend time chatting with other small business owners in you area is such a special treat.

Entrepreneurship is hard and lonely at times.

Being around other people and just laughing and talking is so therapeutic.

This is networking y'all! It doesn't always have to be so serious and tense and nerve wracking.

I feel like when people hear that they should go network they think they need to be in a power suit with business cards and serious faces.

And while there is a time and place for that.... networking can also be just relaxing, chatting, meeting new people, and making plans with them to explore some new possibilities!

I hope that makes you feel more comfortable with coming to our next meetup this fall! 😁

Last week, for April's meet up, we had the honor of touring Maryville's new venue on Broadway, !

Y'all... the W O W factor when you walk in the door is legit amazing!

This venue is a must see if you are a bride searching for her wedding day location. If you love the exposed brick, warm rich feel, beautiful warm lights... then you'll love this building.

I wish I had snapped a full photo of the bridal suite! It is to die for. AND overlooks the entire main floor. Absolutely gorgeous.

It is this Sunday March 27th at Marble City Market in the Old City.

This is an open event with an open time frame.

Melissa, with , and I will be there from 12-4 hanging out while eating & drinking to meet & greet you all!

Come whenever is most convenient for you to stop by and network, chat, meet new vendors and just get to know one another.

Note....

This is not an event with any booth setups, advertising, or couples showing up.

This is strictly a relaxed meet & greet type day where you all are invited to network & make friends in the industry.

The first official KWC meet up of 2022 is now LIVE!

This is a completely free meet up (as most events will be) as well as a come and go as you please event.

With the new reboot idea we really wanted to switch the focus from serving wedding 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 to serving wedding 𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙨.

And not in the traditional sense that you may think of when you think of a "collective".

We really want to create opportunities for you to get to meet new people, hang out with them, get to know them, talk business or about whatever you like!

The meet up ideas we have coming this year will be a great place for this type of relationship building.

Hello Hello! 👋

I am SO EXCITED to be posting on this feed for the first time in far too long.

There are tons of new followers here so I wanted to introduce myself, my new collective partner, and the collective's new purpose here in Knoxville!

I'm Devon, owner of and creator of this little dream of a collective I had a few years back. I am a huge believer in community, networking, and building relationships with like minded fellow small business owners. We were not created to do business, or life in general, all alone.

Melissa owns and is now jumping in with me here rebooting the KWC. I've had the pleasure of working with her over the past month and let me tell you... she is hard working, dedicated, fun, & an amazing baker!

So here's the scoop you've been waiting to hear...

It's true! The KWC is getting a reboot with a whole new look! What does this mean?

•No monthly dues
•No official members
•No advertising businesses

Instead we are going to be planning a different Networking Event for ANY & ALL wedding vendors each month. Switching our focus to our community and the vendors that keep our industry alive and running. We want to create opportunities to help vendors build new friendships to learn and grow alongside.

Think... meet & greet patio nights with food and drinks, venue tours followed by hanging out, floral workshops putting together cute bouquets, pot luck dinners to create a relaxed & filling networking opportunity.
