What kinda of stories do you think you’d hear at this table? The wisdom that comes with age is unmatched when it comes to conversation around the table. As a young child I loved sitting at my great grandparents round dinner table and listening to my great grandfather tell stories of WWll. I still remember those stories to this day and think of them often.

My great grandmother would always make us chocolate pie with a giant scoop of meringue on top. Oh what I would give to set up a picnic for her and to have a piece of that pie again.

Those memories come full circle for me and remind me of how I want my own children to feel growing up and how I want my friends and family that sit at my table (my own home dinner table or a picnic I set up) to feel.

I find myself (yes I’m guilty) feeling rushed through the day and forgetting that the slow intentional moments are the ones my children will remember as well as myself.

Slow down, plan intentional time with friends and family, and enjoy the fruits of your labor. If not now then when?……

I want this “mom hustle” of mine to be a genuine inspiration to others to spend more time outside with their loved ones. I love me a good restaurant but there is just something about eating outside in great weather with great people and putting all devices away (other than capturing special moments of course).

Attention local friends that are in need of locally grown flowers. So so beautiful.

Spring flowers are starting early this year and we can hardly believe the variety that we have blooming in FEBRUARY! Our goal this year was to provide as close to year round blooms as possible for you all and so far we are thrilled to report that we have had fresh blooms for you 11 months out of the year, (we have plans to check of the 12th next year!

Currently blooming on the farm:
-anemones
-ranunculus
-scented stock
-tulips
-poppies
-(almost) daffodils

This month of year on the farm will be so gorgeous, and the spring flower club starts in March where we will add even more varieties!
