Wedding and Event Flowers by Joni I strive to deliver beautiful, unique flowers for a couple's wedding day, or a special event within any budget specified by my client.

Each event is personal and special to me and I give my heart along with the flowers. :) I went to school for floral design and got started in weddings when someone saw a design of mine and requested me to do her wedding. I haven't looked back since! :) I am not a full service florist which means that you get my full attention to your event specifically. Please contact me with any questions you may have!

So this is as good of a time as any to let you know I have created my last wedding bouquet. I have one more wedding this upcoming weekend, but I’m just making a few big pieces for it. I have thoroughly enjoyed doing wedding flowers for the last 16 years (maybe 17, I lost count), but life has changed pretty significantly for me and my family as our pumpkins farm and candle company continues to grow.

It’s bittersweet to be wrapping it up, but I am so grateful that *this* in particular was my last bouquet! I have known the bride and her family for longer than I’ve been doing flowers and they live out of state now so even just to see them was such a treat! I LOVED her vision of pastel colors and tons of succulents and I couldn’t be more grateful that she trusted me to pull it off.

To every bride and groom that trusted me to be your wedding florist, thank you! It was an honor to work with you on such a big day in your life! To everyone who follows this page, thank you for always being there to cheer me on! I’m going to keep the page active so the photos are still available to people for ideas. And finally, to anyone who has ever referred me, thank you!!! I rarely advertised so this business was built on word of mouth and I can’t thank you enough for your high praises! I have several great referrals for anyone who is in search of a wedding florist.

My adorable niece was checking a wedding venue out when she met this awesome bride looking for a florist! We only ever talked on the phone and online, but she did a fabulous job expressing what she wanted and then let me get to work!

I loved her color palette and romantic vibes! I also included some pictures of the beautiful venue, Storybook Gardens in Rochelle. It’s been there since 2014 and is a little hidden gem in our area! Best wishes to you A & N! ❤️❤️❤️

I got to do a pretty darn special wedding on January 4, 2020! My big brother got married! My adorable sister-in-law would win an award if there was such a thing for Most Calm Bride! She was a dream to work with! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get in some of the flowers she wanted originally, but I did the best I could with what I had to work with and I so appreciated her trust in me! It was a beautiful, intimate, wonderful little wedding and we are so happy to have her in our family!

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend this beautiful wedding! They opted for silk flowers for the majority of the flowers, but still wanted fresh corsages and a toss bouquet so I was so happy to be able to make those and share in their special day! I never knew I would love November weddings so much, but I really do! There's something about new life when the outside world is getting ready to take a rest that I just really enjoy! I absolutely loved this bride and her adorable Mom! (Her shiny new husband is also wonderful!) It was a beautiful day for a beautiful bride!
