Not all weddings are on the Outer Banks. 💙

This past weekend, I traded ocean views for mountain views to coordinate a wedding that was especially close to my heart—my great-nephew’s wedding in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Set high on a hill in Penn Laird, with a pond below and the Blue Ridge Mountains stretching across the horizon, the setting was absolutely breathtaking. Family and friends gathered to celebrate, soaking in the views, the sunshine, and all the joy that comes with watching two people start their forever.

The ceremony and reception were held on opposite sides of the property, giving guests a chance to take in every beautiful corner of the venue before celebrating the night away under the tent.

After coordinating so many weddings over the years, being able to help bring a family wedding to life was a gift I’ll never forget. Some wedding days just hit a little differently. 🤍
