💐 Happy Mother’s Day and Happy 1 Year of owning The Balloon Bar 814 🎈
One year ago today, I was terrified. I was scared I was making the wrong decision and spent a lot of time focused on what could go wrong instead of what could go right.
From the beginning, I knew I wanted this to be more than just a side hobby. I was purchasing a business and wanted to continue running it as such. I take a lot of pride in the fact that I didn’t come in knowing anything👏👏👏 a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g 🤪—I had to figure out setting up an LLC, obtaining business licenses, getting insured, registering for sales tax, paying sales tax ☠️ and learning all of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities that come with owning a business 📋💻
One person who believed in me from the very beginning was my mom ❤️ Her support and encouragement gave me the confidence to take the leap when I wasn’t fully confident in myself.
Many people don’t know I also work a full-time job—and I’m a mom of two 💕It’s been late nights, weekends, and every spare moment in between. My goal is to keep growing The Balloon Bar 814 and one day turn it into my full-time job 🎈
To all of my customers—thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your special events, sharing my posts, recommending my business, and supporting me this past year. Without you, none of this would be possible, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you 💕
