Do Bridal Shows work? I did 3 Bridal Shows from November to February and zero phone calls so far. Is it time to stop doing Bridal Shows or what should I do different to attract Brides to my booth and to book? Once I get a couple to have a meeting, I book 75% of them, but just need those calls to come in.

New Wedding Prices. I tried for 4 Bridal Shows and 8 months to compete with the tooo expensive other Photographers in town and had 1 booking. These prices below I have found over the years book me 20+ weddings every year, yet my friends who charge too much always tell me I'll book a lot more if I'd only raise my prices. I listened, their strategy failed, thus new prices announced today and these prices will stay the same until I retire in about 11 years.

It's Engagement Season and Brides looking for a photographer to capture there wedding like no other. I had one Bride decide to book another photographer yesterday for whatever reason and I'm sorry she moved on, but she'll realize after her wedding she made a terrible mistake. For all that I give my couples outside of what they see in the Package is priceless. Still trying to figure out Brides and Grooms on what they are willing to spend on their wedding day photography. When I charge low I used to book 25-35 weddings a year, the past 4 years through today, 29 weddings booked. I charge high like a lot of my competition, I average 3 weddings a year, yet supposedly the competition is averaging 30. I decided to go low for my opening package and high on my highest with an affordable package in the middle. Let's see how this works over the next year or forever.

Had a great Bridal Show this past Saturday, I had a lot of brides and 1 groom very interested in hiring us. Now the waiting period for them to go over their materials and look through their info bags and give me a call. I average about 8 weddings each time I do this Bridal show and 11 years ago this show brought me in over 25 brides. Hoping on that success again.
