Our September Actor Spotlight is Lindsey Somerville! Let’s get to know her more!
What’s your name and where are you from?
Howdy! My name is Lindsey Somerville. I’ve hopped and skipped all around DFW over the years, but I call Fort Worth home.
What do you do at Lagniappe?
Whatever Becky asks of me! Lol I have had the fabulous opportunity to get to do a lot with Lagniappe; I’ve done saloon girl/cowgirl meet and greets, old west photos, old west games, line dance assistance, and the Texas Star Dinner Theater’s murder mystery shows.
Top 3 special skills?
I’m comfortable with rapidly switching characters, I can do a realistic fake sneeze, and I’m a whiz at Fast & Furious trivia.
What do you do when not performing?
I work in education and community outreach at Performing Arts Fort Worth. I absolutely LOVE what I do. Any downtime is spent with friends and family or reading a good book.
Go-to pre or post show meal?
Yikes. I am only slightly ashamed to say my favorite pre-show “meal” is either an iced coffee or a zero-sugar pink monster.
Go-to karaoke song?
“I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan
Anything else to share or fun fact?
I’ve been told “your emotions read on your face as if there’s a neon sign at the top of your head”. You can always tell what I’m really thinking. Yet, I am an actor. I don’t get it either. 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you Lindsey for all you do for us at Lagniappe. You can follow Lindsey at
