This week's We've Got This (and 17 minutes left of) Wednesday is brought to you courtesy of some germs & our almost 5 year old we demanding we make her sick sister some soup yesterday 🫶

This isn’t the week we’d like to talk about data; but recently we saw a statistic that shared 71% of children aged 8-13 have NEVER used a sharp knife. Super grateful that's not the case for us over here.

Happy We've Got This Wednesday Friends. 🫶

💃 Dance team life is in full swing over here and I've joked a lot about not being ready for this adventure but realistically I know there are no limits to my abilities when it comes to nurturing growth opportunities for our family. 💃

💪 However, as someone who's never particularly enjoyed a sport, what has been shocking, is the amount of time I've spent talking to our athletically gifted 6 year old about growth in such a purely physical and simplistic fashion. 💪

Learning ---> Practice ---> Pain---> Growth. On repeat.

🎯 Regular lessons on building resilience along with tangible results- how impactful that experience has been for us. (and exhausting) 🎯

Earlier this week we launched our first newsletter which happened to highlight a commitment that we've made to our community.

Yesterday, we were planning to share some Wellness Wednesday content until we decided anchoring on wellness just isn't enough.

Our entire world needs way more than wellness right now. We need peace. We need a return to basic human decency and the foundational reminder that each and everyone of us has the right to be alive.

As if today being the 24th anniversary of 09/11 wasn't heavy enough one more father, husband, son, cousin has been added to the list of lives cut too short by unnecessary violence and hatred.

We hope you join us in our commitments to bridging our differences and teaching our children how to get along despite all of the beautiful things that make us unique.
