So much truth! I spent over half of my life pursuing a music related career. When I had to shift what I was doing, it was uncomfortable. I had spent over 15 years building music careers, how could that benefit me anywhere outside of the music industry? What most people dont know is Musicians are just micro businesses (most of the time, terribly run micro businesses). It took me a few years to make this connection, but I would have never been able to think that way without taking that time to learn and apply.
