Just because the college accepts your admission, doesn't mean the college's community does. When considering the thoughts and actions of the average student why would we? Drugs and alcohol, irresponsible driving, and local occupation hiring, are just 3 aspects that I didn't sign up to babysit for. As if the issues of inability to pay back student loans or earn enough to thrive after graduation, maybe we need further attention in the education system in the US. I feel I should have a say who lives in my community and why. Not all illegal immigrants are simply from a different country. There's a whole group of them raised in our own backyards that we maybe could occupy their spots without the use of a silver spoon? I don't know if this makes sense, but we are able to be selective in higher education attendees, and we need to be.
