When you pray, God not only listens but He goes to work. Angels are dispatched, chains are broken, favor is released. You can send up prayers for someone who doesn’t know how to pray. You can stand in the gap while they’re off course, not making good decisions. You can be a friend with faith.

You don’t build wealth by making emotional decisions with money.

If you can't pay cash for a car, it’s not a blessing. It’s a burden. A car payment is one of the fastest ways to keep yourself stuck, because it eats up the margin you need to actually get ahead.

And on top of that, your cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, and other vehicles (anything with a motor or wheels) should not have a total value that exceeds half your annual income.

Why? You don’t want too much of your wealth tied up in things that depreciate (go down in value). And cars, trucks, and things with motors depreciate big time.

If you want a better life, you’ve got to create margin. That means driving something you can afford, staying out of debt, and giving yourself room to breathe.

Live like no one else now, so later you can live and give like no one else.
