✨ A Lesson in Growth ✨
One of the things I promised myself when I started Ivory & Vine Events Co. was that I would embrace every opportunity to learn and grow.
I recently had a consultation where a potential client asked if we could FaceTime. While I was fully prepared to discuss her event vision, I wasn't exactly camera-ready. Hair pulled back, t-shirt on, no makeup—the kind of look that says "relaxing at home," not "business owner meeting with a client."
The experience reminded me just how important first impressions can be. Not because clients expect perfection, but because every interaction is an opportunity to represent your business and the level of professionalism you strive to provide.
Was it a little humbling? Absolutely.
But that's one of the things I love most about this journey. Every consultation, every event, and every conversation teaches me something new. As I continue to grow Ivory & Vine Events Co., I'm learning that success isn't about having everything figured out from day one—it's about being willing to learn, adapt, and improve along the way.
