A little behind-the-scenes fun while we test out Ivory & Vine’s new Digital Photo Booth! 📸✨

We had so much fun trying the different photo layouts, posing, and seeing everything come together. I already know this is going to be such a fun addition to weddings, birthdays, showers, anniversaries, and all kinds of special celebrations!

The Photo Booth Experience will officially be available for public rentals beginning October 1st, and I cannot wait to share more details with you soon! 🌿

🌿 The Weekly Vine | A Little Life + Business Update

It’s been about three weeks since I’ve posted, but Ivory & Vine has definitely still been busy behind the scenes! 🤍

September is right around the corner, and I’ve been busy planning for two very special celebrations — an 80th birthday and a vow renewal! I also recently connected with a local videographer and was able to refer them to one of my clients. I love getting to connect with other local businesses while finding great options for my clients! 🌿

And the décor collection? It just keeps growing. 😂 I’ve been purchasing décor galore and cannot wait to start showcasing some of the newest additions to the I&V inventory!

✨ Little sneak peek: A warm fairy light canopy is going to be a focal point at an upcoming event, and I am SO excited to see it come together! The photo below is inspiration and not an exact representation of the final setup — the real design will have its own unique details. 🤍✨

I’ve also officially welcomed another client into the I&V family! We’re kicking off planning for her mom’s 80th birthday celebration this December! 🎉

Outside of Ivory & Vine, life has been full too! Between welcoming my new niece into the world and getting my kiddos back to school, these last few weeks have been BUSY. Things are finally settling down, and I’m back in the saddle! 🙌

As much as it felt like things slowed down this past month, I’m actually glad they did. It gave me a chance to focus on what matters most, spend time with my family, and make sure my current clients were getting the time and attention they deserve. 🤍

🌿 **The Weekly Vine | August 4, 2026** 🌿

This week wasn't packed with big announcements, but it was full of meaningful moments. 💚

✨ **The biggest celebration of all...** I became a first-time aunt! My sweet niece made her arrival, and my heart is absolutely overflowing. Family is everything, and this has been such a special week.

💍 I also completed a walkthrough at one of my October wedding venues! It's always exciting seeing a couple's vision start to come together as we walk through the space, finalize details, and prepare for the big day.

🥂 I had the opportunity to meet with one of my September clients over lunch, and every conversation gets me even more excited for their celebration. Watching months of planning slowly come to life is one of my favorite parts of what I do!

Some weeks are about big milestones, and others are about the moments that remind me why I love this career so much. Every walkthrough, every planning meeting, every happy client, and every family celebration makes this journey incredibly rewarding.

It’s been a couple of weeks, so here’s a little behind-the-scenes update from Ivory & Vine!

These last two weeks have been full of exciting progress, and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything that’s happening! 💚

✨ Big News! I officially announced that Ivory & Vine Events Co. will be expanding into event rentals beginning this October! Planning clients will receive priority access to available rentals along with exclusive discounts on my décor inventory. I can’t wait to start sharing more as we get closer to launch!

🌿 I’ve continued growing my rental inventory with new pieces, including a beautiful wooden wedding arch and additional centerpieces. I’m also SO excited to show off my gorgeous new Photo Booth equipment! I think she deserves a name because she is BEAUTIFUL! 🤍✨ I’ll have to come up with one… and don’t worry—more to come on that very soon!

💍 I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with more incredible couples and am so excited to welcome two new brides to the Ivory & Vine family! Thank you for trusting me to be part of such an important chapter in your lives. ❤️

💻 Behind the scenes, I’ve been hard at work testing and refining my planning systems. After plenty of research (and more trial and error than I’d like to admit 😂), I’ve found the planning platform that truly fits the experience I want to provide. I’m so excited to begin rolling it out to my clients, giving us an organized, collaborative space to track every milestone, detail, and celebration!

💕 Just a little Saturday morning gratitude…

There is something so special about planning an event.

The excitement… the anticipation… watching months of ideas, meetings, timelines, and tiny details slowly come together until suddenly… it’s event day. There is truly nothing else like it.

Stepping into the wedding industry has been one of the greatest blessings. I’ve met so many incredible brides and talented vendors who have welcomed me with open arms. Every conversation, every consultation, every new friendship reminds me why I chose this path.

And my brides… I can’t even put into words how much I adore you all. 🥹

I love the random texts saying, “What do you think about this?” or “Look what I found!” I love watching your vision evolve. I love celebrating every milestone right alongside you. Getting to be trusted with one of the biggest days of your life is something I’ll never take for granted.

People always say, “Find a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

I finally understand what they mean.

I can spend hours building timelines, researching vendors, organizing logistics, creating checklists, designing layouts, and dreaming up ideas… and it never feels like work. It fills my cup.

I’ve found something that challenges me, inspires me, and genuinely makes me excited to wake up every day.

😂 Current Obsession: Comparing Every Wedding Timeline I Can Find.

My poor boyfriend has listened to me go on WAY too many rants this week about wedding planning timelines. 😂

“This website says 18 months.”
“This checklist says 12 months.”
“Pinterest says 6 months.”
“Wait… THIS one says mail invitations ONE MONTH before the wedding?!” 🤦🏼‍♀️

At this point, he’s probably questioning every life choice that led him to hearing me compare wedding checklists for hours. 😂

But this is exactly why hiring a professional wedding planner gives couples so much peace of mind.

Recently, someone shared a wedding checklist they had purchased, and while it looked great at first glance, it was missing SO many important steps. Some of the timelines were also… questionable. 😅 For example, it suggested mailing invitations 1–3 months before the wedding. Three months? Absolutely. One month? That’s a recipe for RSVPs arriving after your seating chart is due. 😂

The biggest difference is that what looks like one task to most people is actually five (or more) micro-tasks to a professional planner.

For example, “Create your wedding timeline.” Sounds simple, right? But to a planner, that’s dozens of smaller tasks: confirming vendor arrival times, calculating hair and makeup schedules, building in travel time, accounting for family photos, sunset portraits, ceremony timing, cocktail hour flow, reception events, buffer time for delays, and coordinating every vendor so everyone is working from the same schedule.

Those little details are what keep your wedding day running smoothly.
