The Powerdale Hydroelectric Project was a 6-megawatt facility located on Oregon's Hood River, run by PacifiCorp from 1923 until 2006. After a major flood damaged the pipeline that year, the dam and related infrastructure were torn down in 2010 to revive vital habitats for Chinook salmon, steelhead, and bull trout.
And before anyone asks, there were no doors so no “breaking and entering” occurred. We just entered 🤣
