I’m doing what I love. I’m building a future I believe in. And I’m getting ready to launch , which feels like the next big chapter in all of this.

Feeling grateful. Feeling ready. Let’s go!!

When I started Yard Games Hawaii, I didn’t know exactly where it would lead. I just knew I wanted to build big games that brought people together, made them laugh, and maybe even made them say “wait… you built this?”

The Life-Sized Battleship was one of those first big dreams. I sketched it out, piece by piece, not knowing if anyone would actually want to play a 12-foot-long game on a lawn. But I believed in it. I believed in the idea that play could be giant, interactive, and unforgettable.

This game has been out at plenty of events already. It’s not new. But this photo hit different. It reminded me that what I once imagined is now real. That I’ve actually built the thing I dreamed about.

And at the same time, it reminded me I’m not done. There’s more to create, more to grow, more to become. The dream isn’t a finish line. It’s fuel.

And that ocean view in the background? Yeah. That was part of the vision too. If you feel this, show some love below 🫶🏼.

There’s something special about bringing people together—not just in the same space, but in a way that gets them laughing, strategizing, and working as a team. That’s what I love about hosting events like this. It’s not just about setting up games; it’s about creating moments where people break out of their comfort zones, connect, and make memories they’ll take with them long after the event is over.

Every group starts the same way—some are excited, some are skeptical, some are just here for the drinks. But once the games begin, something shifts. The quiet ones start getting competitive, the coworkers who barely talk suddenly have inside jokes, and the team that thought they had no shot at winning starts pulling off clutch plays.

I’ve seen people go from strangers to teammates in minutes. I’ve watched company execs get outplayed by interns. I’ve witnessed moments of pure, unfiltered joy when someone lands the winning shot or pulls off an underdog comeback. And that’s why I do this.

Because team building isn’t just a buzzword—it’s an experience. It’s the moments of friendly competition, the unexpected high-fives, the shared victories, and even the hilarious fails that bring people together in a way that meetings and icebreakers never could.

So whether it’s a corporate retreat, a wedding party looking for something fun, or just a group of friends wanting to settle some friendly rivalries, I’m here for it. Let’s make it happen. Let’s turn another ordinary day into something unforgettable.

There’s something about a game that brings people together. Maybe it’s the friendly competition, the laughter after a ridiculous miss, or the way a single round of ping pong can turn strangers into teammates. Whatever it is, play has a way of breaking down barriers and creating connections that last far beyond the final score.

A simple rally at the ping pong table becomes a conversation starter. A foosball match turns into a rematch, then a best-of-three, then a full-blown rivalry that keeps everyone invested. Air hockey? That’s where quick reflexes meet even quicker friendships, where cheers and playful smack talk fill the room.

These aren’t just games—they’re shared moments. They create stories, memories, and inside jokes that stick around long after the event ends. The competitive ones bring their A-game, the casual players just want to have fun, and everyone—no matter their skill level—walks away with a smile.

Because connection doesn’t always come from deep conversations or formal introductions. Sometimes, it’s as simple as grabbing a paddle, spinning the rods, or lining up your next shot. And in those moments, the best memories aren’t just made—they’re played.

Some ideas start small—a quick thought, a random sketch, a “wouldn’t it be cool if…” moment. That’s exactly how this life-sized Battleship began. The goal was simple: take a classic game that everyone knows and turn it into something bigger, something that brings people together in a way that’s impossible to ignore.

Building it was a challenge, but more than anything, it was exciting. Seeing the pieces come together, watching a flat design turn into something you can stand in front of, interact with, and strategize on—it was a reminder of why creating experiences like this matters.

The first time it was played, the best part wasn’t who won or lost. It was the way people huddled together, debating their next move. The way cheers erupted when a ship was “sunk.” The way a game, at its core, can turn strangers into teammates, coworkers into competitors, and family into lifelong opponents (the fun kind).

Now, every time this Battleship board gets set up, it brings that same energy. Whether it’s part of a wedding, a corporate retreat, or just a group looking to have fun, it’s proof that the best moments in life are the ones you play through together.

So, what’s your next move?

We live in a world where photos are taken, filtered, and stored in the cloud, often forgotten in the endless scroll of a camera roll. But there’s something different about a Polaroid. Something real. The moment you press that shutter, time slows down just a little. The photo prints instantly, developing before your eyes, no second chances, no retakes—just a pure, unfiltered memory.

At every wedding, party, and event where this Polaroid Photo Station is set up, something special happens. People don’t just snap a photo and move on. They gather around, flipping through the prints, laughing at the goofy ones, treasuring the candid ones. Friends write little notes on the back. Newlyweds collect snapshots of their favorite people, holding a stack of memories in their hands before the night is even over.

There’s something magical about capturing a moment and knowing it’s one of a kind. Not stored on a phone. Not edited to perfection. Just a true reflection of the joy, the fun, the love of the day.

Because in the end, the best moments aren’t the ones that get the most likes. They’re the ones you can hold in your hands, tuck into a scrapbook, and look back on years later with a smile.

So take the picture. Capture the memory. And don’t forget to shake it (even if that’s not really how it works 😉).

Life, like love, is a journey—one step, one moment, one choice at a time. This wedding-themed putt-putt course wasn’t just built for fun. It was designed to tell a story.

The first hole: Love. This is where it all begins. The butterflies, the laughter, the late-night talks that turn into early mornings. Love is the spark, the foundation, the moment you realize you’ve found your person. You line up your shot, knowing that every great story starts with a leap of faith.

The second hole: The Rings. Commitment. The moment two lives become one. Just like sinking a perfect putt, it takes focus, trust, and a little bit of luck. The rings symbolize forever, a promise to stand together through every high and low. The ball rolls through, a reminder that love isn’t just about the big moments—it’s about the journey in between.

The final hole: The Ceremony. The grand moment where it all comes together. Family and friends gather, vows are exchanged, and a new chapter begins. Just like in golf, the path to this point wasn’t always straight. There were twists, turns, maybe even a few unexpected obstacles. But now, standing at the finish, it’s clear—it was all worth it.

Marriage, like this course, isn’t about playing it safe. It’s about trusting the process, adjusting when needed, and celebrating every win along the way. So here’s to love, to forever, and to sinking that last putt with confidence. So Happy Valentines to all the love birds out there! Let the love shine bright 🌟.

The moment you pick up a water gun, something changes. The years melt away, responsibilities disappear, and for a little while, you’re just a kid again. It doesn’t matter if you’re six or sixty—once that trigger is pulled, it’s game on.

At the start, there’s always hesitation. A few people hang back, unsure if they want to commit. Then the first splash hits. Suddenly, the hesitation is gone, and the field erupts into a full-blown battle. Laughter replaces strategy, and running through the crossfire becomes more fun than staying dry.

Some dive for cover behind trees, others go full offense, dual-wielding water blasters like action movie stars. The competitive ones form teams, shouting plays and calling out targets. But by the end, the only thing that matters is that everyone is soaked, smiling, and completely lost in the moment.

That’s the magic of a water gun fight—it’s an age eraser. It reminds us that no matter how busy life gets, no matter how many emails are waiting or meetings are scheduled, fun is always waiting for us. All we have to do is pick up a water gun and pull the trigger.

So… who’s ready to relive their childhood?

Not every wedding is about tradition. Some are about energy, excitement, and making sure every guest—young or old—has a reason to get in the game. This was one of those weddings.

It started like any other, with heartfelt vows and a picture-perfect ceremony. But as soon as cocktail hour kicked off, it was clear this wasn’t going to be a stand-around-and-make-small-talk kind of night. The bride and groom wanted something more—something that brought people together, not just for drinks, but for friendly competition, laughter, and moments that no one would forget.

So, while guests sipped on cocktails and waited for the reception to begin, the real battles started. The groomsmen challenged the bridesmaids to a best-of-three shootout. Parents faced off against their kids. That one uncle who swore he “used to play back in the day” stepped up and gave it his best shot. And the bride? Let’s just say she held her own against anyone who dared to challenge her.

There was no prize—just bragging rights, pure fun, and a whole lot of unforgettable moments. Because that’s what this wedding was all about. Not just celebrating love, but celebrating life, play, and the joy of competition.

By the time dinner was served, guests weren’t just seated at their tables—they were swapping stories, laughing about their victories (or epic misses), and feeling like they were part of something special. Because when cocktail hour is this fun, you know the rest of the night is going to be unforgettable.

They say love is like a game—not because it’s a competition, but because it takes strategy, patience, and a little bit of luck. You make your move, hoping the other person is ready to play. Sometimes, you drop a piece, not knowing where it will land, but trusting that it’s part of something bigger.

Marriage? That’s the ultimate game of connection. Two people, side by side, stacking memories, laughter, and maybe a few challenges along the way. Some moves are easy, like knowing exactly what to say to make your partner smile. Others take thought—learning to communicate, to compromise, to see the game from their side of the board.

At this beautiful Maui wedding, love wasn’t just in the air—it was on the lawn, where this life-sized Connect 4 became a symbol of the journey ahead. ‘Just Maui’d’ discs filled the board, each piece a reminder that love isn’t about winning or losing. It’s about building something together, one move at a time.

Maybe the bride won. Maybe the groom pulled off the perfect play. Or maybe, just maybe, they let love take the victory. Because at the end of the day, marriage isn’t about who gets the last move—it’s about never stopping the game.

So here’s to the newlyweds, stacking up a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. And if they ever face a tough decision, well… at least they know how to strategize. 😉
