Jay Recreation Committee We are a group of local volunteers who believe that fun should be for everyone. Our mission is simple: create good times for the people of Jay, Maine.

We are a group of dedicated volunteers committed to organizing events that bring people together and strengthen the sense of community in Jay and the surrounding areas Open to all and fueled by community spirit, the Jay Recreation Committee works to bring people together using the incredible resources right here in our own backyard—parks, trails, events, music, and more. Nearly everything we do is free of charge, thanks to generous support from local sponsors, partnerships, and the dedication of our members. Whether it’s Music in the Park, family festivals, or pop-up events throughout the seasons, we’re here to make sure there’s always something fun happening close to home. Come join us—we're always looking for more hands, fresh ideas, and new friends

It's that time of year again!
We've put the chair back out at French Falls Park here in Jay.

Just head on down French Falls Lane (between Gigis Pizzaroni and Spruce Mountain Pharmacy) and hop on the Blue trail. Stick close to the water and you can't miss them!

Grab a seat, enjoy the sun on your face and the sounds of nature as you let your worries melt away for a few minutes.
