Our partnership with Nordstrom in our Town Center is getting even sweeter! As the Official Beauty Partner of 2026: Cirque Du Duval, Nordstrom is not only joining us backstage with professional makeup artists + their Beauty Suite and bringing an interactive beauty & fragrance experience to the Ball — we’re taking this collaboration beyond November 7th!!✨

On October 10th, a curated group of Duval Ball influencers will be joining us at Nordstrom for a special beauty influencer collaboration leading up to the Ball!

And these bags? 👀 They’re headed to our girls!

We’ll be making our rounds and doing a few meet-ups/drop-offs very soon to get everyone their goodies + official event details. So, if we reached out to you… keep your phone close. 🥰💌

THE DUVAL BALL OFFICIAL CASTING CALL is less than a week away & we want you all to come PREPARED. Here’s a little education from one of our fav partners, Makeeta Lé Modél, founder of Haute Immersive Fashion Experience & “Model Molding Classes with Makeeta”!!

Let’s clear up the confusion between Digitals and Comp Cards so you hit your next submission with confidence!!

Digitals (aka Polaroids)
• The Vibe: Raw, real, and unfiltered. No makeup, no fancy lighting (natural lighting), just you.
• The Purpose: Handed out at in-person castings, go-sees, and runway shows to show your natural self, up to date measurements, actual skin, natural hair. 
Mostly Used for agency applications, Runway show castings and updating your current look (new hair, changes in measurements).
Agencies / designers / productions want to see your natural base canvas!
• The Setup: Neutral background, natural light, form-fitting clothes (think plain and fitted tank & jeans or tights/shorts). You can literally shoot these at home on a smartphone!
• Format: A set of 4–5 unedited photo files (headshot, profile, waist-up, full-length).

Comp Cards (Composite Cards)
• The Vibe: Polished, professional, and styled. Think of it as your modeling resume/business card!
• The Purpose: Handed out at in person castings if requested, go-sees with designers/photographers, and runway shows to market your versatility and range to clients with digitals.
• The Setup: Curated professional shots showing different commercial or editorial looks.
• Format: A designed layout—usually 1 hero image on the front, 3–4 portfolio shots on the back, plus your stats (height, bust/waist/hips, shoe size) and contact info.

Digitals show agencies who you are. Comp cards show clients what you can do!!
