Back in the fall, I read “A Mother’s Rule of Life” and applying some of the ideas in the book has really transformed my motherhood (and business!). If you’re wondering how to get “all of the things done” with kids, you can’t! There are never enough hours in the day. BUT, you can create systems and rhythms to get the most important things done and prioritize God, spouse, kids, housework, work, and other life things (in that order). Follow along to see what a typical week looks like in this current season (with 3 kids under 3 who still nap and working ~15 hours/week).

Fresh new website, updated branding, and feeling like our biz just got a facelift.
Fun fact: Our real names are John and Mary Josephine so the “JMJ” plays a dual purpose—our initials and the initials of the Holy Family (the ultimate inspiration for marriage and family life)! Very convenient actually haha.

Got some fresh branding photos, so we thought it was the perfect time to re-introduce ourselves…
We are Josie and Jack Delac (aka, the Delac Collective). We are passionate about capturing Catholic marriages rooted in Christ because that’s how we believe the world is changed for good. Here’s some fun facts about us:
We got married in 2022, a year after our first meeting (because God really moved fast). This is also the same year we started our business.
We have 3 kids under the age of 3 (if you’re doing math, the first 2 are twins haha)
JP2 and Fulton Sheen’s writings have inspired our business and marriage so much, and we’ve claimed Fulton Sheen as our patron!
Josie is a Florida grown gal, but Jack is a Texan through and through.
While Josie is the lead photographer, Jack is the true creative at heart—He got a degree in music from USC and pursued a career in acting/entertainment before the Lord rerouted him to FL!
Before getting into photography, Josie played tennis at the University of Florida and even won a national championship! She pursued a professional career after college before God changed the plans.
Chipotle, coffee, and Jesus keep us going. (Not in that order ;))

One of the coolest things about attending the last month, was seeing the uniqueness in each woman’s creativity and the way she captured beauty. We had a styled shoot one of the days, and I was so inspired by how these women put together a flat lay in ways I would never think to do, or arranged a tablescape with Catholic details and gorgeous florals. The retreat really sparked deeper creativity in my own heart for finding new ways to capture the beauty around me on a wedding day, and I’m oh so grateful for that gift.
