And here’s why…

I want you to know that The Event Edit is a ONE-WOMAN SHOW. No AI-generated responses. No chatbots. No team of people behind the scenes pretending to be me.

When you send a message, leave a comment, or receive an email, you’re getting ME. The real person behind this business.

And quite frankly, I think that’s my competitive advantage.

When I tell you I’m going to customize something for you, I mean it. I’m not sending you the same generic checklist I sent 50 other brides. I’m looking at YOUR wedding, YOUR budget, YOUR vision, and YOUR needs.

Will there occasionally be a typo? Probably. 😂

Will I sometimes respond between meetings, basketball practices, and the other 47 things happening in my life? You bet.

But what you’ll always get is someone who genuinely cares about your day and is personally invested in making it everything you imagined.

I’d rather give you something personal with an occasional spelling error than something perfectly polished that has absolutely no personality.

Because at the end of the day, you’re not hiring a checklist. You’re hiring a person.

When I tell you this wedding was an absolute DREAM! 😍✨

I am SO happy my sweet bride trusted my vision when it came to the tablecloths because THAT COLOR! 🤌🏼 It was everything I imagined and more. The entire color palette came together so beautifully, and pictures truly don’t do it justice!

And can we talk about the bride?! Absolutely STUNNING, inside and out, and genuinely such a dream to work with. 🤍

But I have to give a special shoutout to her precious little daughter, who completely made my day. 🥹💕 As a boy mom, sometimes I just need a little dose of that sweet little girl energy, and she delivered!

Weddings like this remind me exactly why I love what I do. Getting to bring someone’s vision to life, adding those little touches, and being part of such special moments is something I’ll never take for granted.

Steaming tablecloths on a Tuesday night so they’re wedding-ready might not be the glamorous side of event planning… but THIS is what going the extra mile looks like.

✨ WEDDING VISION vs. WEDDING REALITY ✨

As a wedding professional, my job isn’t to tell you that you need a bigger budget to have the wedding you’ve been dreaming about.

It’s to take the budget you DO have, figure out what matters most to you, and put those dollars where they’re going to create the biggest WOW.

For this wedding, we knew the showstopper had to be the hanging chandelier. ✨

So we built the design around it — choosing the elements that would complement it, make the room feel intentional, and give the bride that moment she had pictured in her head.

Because you don’t need everything.

You need the right things.

I’m so freaking proud of what I’ve built in the first year of The Event Edit — so obviously I celebrated the only way I know how…

Today I officially launched The Bridal Edit — a community for DIY brides who want to plan their own wedding, but don’t want to do it alone.

I kept seeing the same gap in the wedding industry. There are planners, checklists and endless Pinterest boards…but I haven’t seen a space quite like this.

A place where brides can have an event coordinator in their corner, get customized guidance, learn from wedding pros, ask questions and have a community that GETS IT.

So I built it. 🤍
