If you've ever been to a techno club, industrial night, or underground rave, you've probably noticed something interesting:
Everyone is dancingā¦
but nobody is teaching anyone how.
There are almost no lessons, no official moves, and no standardized styles.
And yet if you watch long enough, you start to see patterns.
After more than 20 years of dancing in goth, industrial, and techno clubs, I started thinking about the dance floor a little differently ā especially after getting into running and endurance training.
That idea led me to something Iām calling Dark Cardio: Train for the Night.
In this video I explore:
⢠why techno dancing never developed formal rules
⢠how underground culture shaped the way people move
⢠and why dancing at clubs might actually be a form of endurance training.
This is the first video introducing the concept.
