We spent the day touring venues across Tampa for an upcoming event, and it was a great reminder that selecting the right space is about far more than square footage. It shapes the entire guest experience from start to finish.

A few things we evaluate on every walkthrough:

• Flow - how guests move from entry to seating to activities
• Vibe - does the space match the tone and purpose of the event
• Natural light & lighting flexibility throughout the day
• Parking & accessibility for your guest list
• Contingency planning for weather or A/V challenges

Venue selection is one of the most critical steps in successful event planning and it deserves careful attention early in the process.

The American flag is more than cloth stitched together—it is a symbol of freedom, sacrifice, courage, and hope. It is also one of my favorite backdrops. It has flown over battlefields, welcomed our heroes home, draped the caskets of those who gave everything, and stood as a reminder that liberty is never free.

No matter our differences, the Stars and Stripes remind us that we are blessed to live in a nation founded on the belief that our rights come from God, not government. Today, may we honor the flag by living worthy of what it represents, remembering those who defended it, and teaching the next generation to cherish the freedoms it symbolizes. God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

Getting to reconnect with so many wonderful clients and friends in one place is a reminder of just how special this industry and the people in it truly are. Standing on such historic ground while working alongside Moms for Liberty made every detail even more meaningful. Thank you to Moms for Liberty for trusting us to be part of something so special. Iconic venues require an elevated approach. 🏛️✨

These photos are from an event we produced inside the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., one of the most breathtaking event spaces in the country. From floral design and custom tablescapes to stage production with the Leadership Institute podium and lush white florals, every element was curated with intention.

At Angela Braid Consulting, we manage every layer of the event experience from venue logistics and floral direction to catering oversight and day-of production. We work hand in hand with the staff at the Smithsonian to ensure both our clients and vendors are supported every step of the way.
