Last week in Dallas, Angela Braid Consulting was proud to be part of the Moms for Liberty National Summit, bringing together people from across the country to reconnect, inspire, and share their passion.

Our job is to create the space, manage the details, and bring the vision to life. But it’s the people who fill that space who make it truly meaningful.

As CEO of the Teacher Freedom Alliance, he's giving educators professional support as an alternative to traditional union membership. He reminded me why great speakers are the heartbeat of a successful summit. We spent the day touring venues across Tampa for an upcoming event, and it was a great reminder that selecting the right space is about far more than square footage. It shapes the entire guest experience from start to finish.

A few things we evaluate on every walkthrough:

• Flow - how guests move from entry to seating to activities
• Vibe - does the space match the tone and purpose of the event
• Natural light & lighting flexibility throughout the day
• Parking & accessibility for your guest list
• Contingency planning for weather or A/V challenges

Venue selection is one of the most critical steps in successful event planning and it deserves careful attention early in the process.

The American flag is more than cloth stitched together—it is a symbol of freedom, sacrifice, courage, and hope. It is also one of my favorite backdrops. It has flown over battlefields, welcomed our heroes home, draped the caskets of those who gave everything, and stood as a reminder that liberty is never free.

No matter our differences, the Stars and Stripes remind us that we are blessed to live in a nation founded on the belief that our rights come from God, not government. Today, may we honor the flag by living worthy of what it represents, remembering those who defended it, and teaching the next generation to cherish the freedoms it symbolizes. God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

A whirlwind trip to Washington, D.C. and yet somehow it never feels like work when you’re surrounded by the right people. Getting to reconnect with so many wonderful clients and friends in one place is a reminder of just how special this industry and the people in it truly are. I love what I do but more importantly, I love who I get to do it with. 🏛️❤️💼
