Happy Friday to my supporters and what a beautiful day God has given us. I want to give a heartfelt shout-out to the many supporters who took this journey with Amy and I. We are truly blessed to have met so many incredible people who are now a part of our lives. Thank you to those who crossed party lines to stand behind a cause you believe in. This is exactly the kind of unity our country needs more of. Thank you to my youngest son, my namesake who showed up to run every race, (so glad I didn't have to), my In-laws that made every parade, nieces, nephews, brother and sisters that supported me. You all made this a family campaign. To my campaign team. Words can't fully express my gratitude. Your dedication, loyalty, and hard work, from the beginning to the very end, meant everything to us. You guys stepped up, put yourselves out there and fought for something/ someone you believed in. That took a lot of courage and personal sacrifice, and we will never forget it. Through this journey, we didn't just build a campaign, we gained a family. A family that will no doubt be a part of our lives forever. Tuesday March 17 was not a defeat; it was God reminding me that there is a greater plan ahead. And while I may not see it yet, I trust that His purpose for me, and for all of us, is still unfolding. Enjoy this wonderful weekend we are blessed to have, please say hello whenever you see me in the community and everyone, God bless...

Today is Election Tuesday. That's right it all comes down to this day. This one-year campaign has been a long and journey that's been filled with a lot of joy, enthusiasm, some hard ache, some unexpected challenges and even a few moments we still can't quite explain. Through it all, we've stayed committed to what matters most, the chance to serve our community with integrity and purpose. We've been exposed to some incredible love from friends, neighbors and total strangers. We, (my wife Amy and I) have talked to people from both sides of the political party lines, young and old. First time and seasoned voters. This race has brought us closer together as a couple and as human beings. So please make a difference by casting your vote for steady leadership, seasoned experience, professionalism, integrity, sound judgement, and accountability. I am Stan Diggs and I'm asking you to vote for me today to be your next Sheriff of Williamson County. Thank you and God bless.

Happy Birthday Stan Diggs!!

Give Stan the gift of your vote for Williamson County Sheriff in the republican primary.

But the real gift isn’t for him, and the people of Williamson County will get something in return:

✅ Leadership grounded in real experience.
✅ Calm, steady decision-making in difficult moments.
✅ Respect for every citizen of Williamson County.
✅ A sheriff focused on service, not self-promotion.

Tomorrow, the choice is simple.

Elect Stan Diggs for Williamson County Sheriff.

Back in the day, our ancestors walked uphill both ways in the snow, barefoot, just to get to school.

Today we have heated cars, windshield wipers, and drive-through coffee.

Surely we can manage a short drive, a warm coat, and a quick stop at the polls.

Rain, wind, snow, or whatever Mother Nature throws at us, we won’t get a second chance to elect Stan Diggs as the Republican candidate for Sheriff of Williamson County.

If you haven’t voted yet, throw on a warm coat and go earn your “I Voted” sticker. 🗳️

In all seriousness, stay safe this evening. Weather reports are showing the potential for some strong storms tonight. Monday and Election Day, Tuesday March 17, are expected to just be very cold. 🥶

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Rule Change 🍀

Since St. Patrick’s Day falls on Election Day this year, we’re changing the tradition a little bit…

Not wearing green is allowed.

But not voting? That’s a guaranteed pinch.🤏

Ask your friends and family if they’ve voted.🗳️
If the answer is NO, pinch them and send them to the polls.

In Williamson County this year, wearing green might save you from a pinch…

🍀But voting is the only real way to avoid one.🍀

Disclaimer: We are not promoting violence…only light St. Patrick’s Day🍀motivation to go vote.🗳️

🚨This is an important election update.🚨

If you remember on November 21, 2025, I reported that my team attended a county board meeting that highlighted serious concerns surrounding the county’s excess liability insurance due to the alarming number of lawsuits filed against the county. The sheriff’s failure to meet with the insurance company to discuss plans to reduce claims resulted in the county losing coverage. When the new insurance coverage was negotiated our deductible increased from $50,000 to $500,000, an increase of over 900%.

Here’s a new update. I first learned about the sheriff’s “Trust Fund” or “Slush Fund” back in June of 2025 when it was voted into existence.

This Trust/Slush Fund was established to allow the sheriff, Jeff Diederich the ability to charge small “unincorporated communities” extra money for deputies to patrol those communities. When I was employed as an Illinois State Trooper, your state tax dollars paid me to patrol all counties in Illinois. When you pay your Williamson County tax bills, part of that money pays the salaries for county deputies to patrol Williamson County, including all unincorporated communities.

So, Sheriff Diederich has been charging small communities like Colp, Creal Springs and Hurst extra money for deputies to provide patrol in those communities. Here’s a snapshot of the charges, (money collected) all starting from May 1, 2025 to February 20, 2026.

- Colp has paid $18,333.31
- Creal Springs has paid $58,333.31
- City of Hurst has paid $97,500.08

Grand Total Collected: $174,166.70

This is over a 9 month period of time.

I ask why Sheriff Diederich needs to charge these small communities all this money when they should be getting this service for free. Remember, we already pay county taxes and plenty of them. This is simply “Double Dipping”.

Oh, did I not mention, the sheriff has a budget of $9,800,000. Yeah, that’s right, ten million dollars, which is enough money to operate everything he needs to run the sheriff department with. The county commissioners have seen to that. His budget has increased every year he has been in office. Sheriff Diederich wants more. People like him always want more. That $174,166.70 will go into the county’s general fund, but the money is earmarked for ONLY the sheriff to use at his discretion.

I ask, who around here has a discretionary fund that ONLY they could use. What other communities are next?

So, to the residents living in those unincorporated communities and the residents in other small communities that may be next on his list. If I’m elected sheriff, I will eliminate those fees on day one, so that money can be spent in your communities on things you need in your communities. That you can take to the bank.

I’m Stan Diggs, and I’m asking for your vote on March 17th to be your next sheriff of Williamson County.
