My Story

I am Marva Smith-Carty, a trained, experienced, and certified Florist and Floral Designer. I create and design florals for all events/occasions. I went to a floral design academy in the Caribbean where I learned how to design and arrange fresh-cut, dried & silk flowers. My earlier work focussed on destination weddings, and I am thrilled to have grown and engaged in ongoing professional development to create florals today.

I design florals for weddings, graduations, prom, corporate events, homecoming, quinceañera, dinners, balls, parties, father-daughter dance, baby showers, your home, your special someone, and other special occasions. I started my floral design business formally in 2011, designing flowers from home. You can probably tell by now that I love what I do. For me, it is a combination of passion, therapeutic relaxation, and my life’s work. The priceless smiles of my clients, the tears of joy, the warm hugs, the expressions of gratitude, the screams of “I love it” and “OMG” from the prom-goers, brides, moms, and flowers recepients and the joy I get from this job, keep me designing
