Some love stories seem to exist in a world of their own.

The wind lifted Camila’s veil along the chapel steps at Aldrich Mansion, catching the lace as though heaven itself had reached down to touch it. There was a softness to the moment, but also a sense of certainty. The feeling that something sacred was unfolding exactly as it was meant to.

Camila and Andrew’s wedding day felt rooted in faith, devotion, and a love that drew them beyond themselves. The kind of love that quiets the noise of the world and leaves only what matters. A promise. A partnership. A shared future entrusted to God.

As Unchained Melody wove its way through the day, it felt fitting. A love story carried by longing, gratitude, and the joy of finally arriving home to one another.

For a few moments on those chapel steps, time seemed to stand still. Just the movement of lace, the breath of the wind, and two hearts stepping into the life they had prayed for.

This weekend feels like the true beginning of the season.

I’ve already spent months with my 2026 and 2026 couples, photographing engagement sessions and beginning to understand the rhythm of who they are together. But this weekend commences my 2026 wedding season, and I have two celebrations ahead that I am so excited for.

These images are from last spring at the MET with Camila and Andrew. Art and love existed so naturally there. Quiet moments framed by history, scale, and movement. The kind of session that reminds me why I’m drawn to spaces that hold beauty with intention.

Their wedding weekend at Aldrich Mansion has finally arrived!!It is sure to be a celebration that is so full of deep love, and joy from the people who have shaped them.

Earlier this week, I photographed Camila’s Harvard graduation portraits, and documenting another chapter of her life felt incredibly meaningful. There is something special about witnessing people not only on a wedding day, but through seasons of growth and becoming.

My 2026 yearly mini session books are officially open.

If you were part of my newsletter list, you received first access earlier this week, and many dates have already started to fill. I’m so grateful every year for how quickly these sessions become part of your family traditions.

Maybe you’re imagining a timeless coastal session this summer while vacationing on Cape Cod. Barefoot children running through the dunes, salty air, sun-faded evenings, and photographs that feel at home framed on the walls your family will gather around for years to come.

Or perhaps you’re using a mini session in a completely different way — an engagement session filled with movement and connection, or updated branding imagery and headshots that feel elevated, personal, and aligned with your personality and work.

Over the last few years, I intentionally stepped back from portrait sessions to focus more fully on weddings. But one of the things I missed most was continuing to watch so many of your families grow season after season. There is something deeply meaningful about photographing the same children year after year.. first missing teeth, then growing taller than their parents, and eventually preparing to leave for college. Some of the little ones I began photographing years ago are already entering that chapter now, which feels almost impossible to believe.

That history and familiarity is part of why family photography means so much to me. These images become markers of time in a way we rarely recognize until years later.

Bringing back more preset mini session dates this year allows me to thoughtfully weave them into wedding season while still creating space for the families who have been part of this journey with me for so long. Some sessions are designed for coastal summer evenings, while others embrace the richness of fall close to home here in New England.

To celebrate opening the calendar to everyone, any mini session booked by Monday will receive a complimentary video reel of your session edited in a nostalgic Super 8 style, full of movement, texture, and the feeling of a memory unfolding in real time.

I cannot wait to see so many returning faces and meet new ones this season.

There’s a reason the Newport mansions continue to hold such fascination.

The scale. The ornamentation. The way beauty was woven into every surface with such conviction and care.

They were designed not simply to impress, but to immerse.

To create a world entirely their own.

I find that same influence carried into the lush designs they continue to inspire today. Layered florals, collected textures, candlelight, color, movement. Details that feel abundant yet intentional, shaped by the romance and grandeur of the coast itself.

As a wedding photographer, I’m endlessly drawn to the dialogue between these historic spaces and modern celebrations. The way art, architecture, and emotion continue to inform one another across generations.

Memorial Day always asks me to pause more deeply.

To remember that the freedom my family and I move through each day has come at a cost carried by others. Men and women who chose service and sacrifice, regardless of politics, because they believed in protecting the people beside them and the country behind them.

Today, I’m thinking of the families left waiting. The families forever changed. The lives interrupted in ways many of us will never fully understand. I’m remembering my own family members who defended this country, along with friends who continue to carry that responsibility now.

The flag, the coastline, the sound of waves—it all feels different when held beside that perspective. Less ordinary. More sacred.

Grateful for the courage that has allowed so many of us the privilege of an ordinary life.

I’ve been holding onto this one for some time. It felt meant to be shared with care.

Krista and Paul’s wedding at Wychmere Beach Club is now featured on Style Me Pretty. A Cape Cod setting shaped by ocean air and light, where their celebration unfolded with a kind of romance that felt both expansive and deeply personal.

Their love was not subtle. You could see it—Krista softening and unfolding in the presence of her husband, emotion written across her face in every glance. Paul met her with a steady, grounding warmth. A quiet sense of protection. The kind of presence that allows a love like hers to fully open.

Throughout the day, there were thoughtful details that reflected that same feeling. Nantucket baskets woven into the design, carrying florals in a way that felt rooted in place and tradition. Elements chosen with intention, yet never overpowering what mattered most.

While I value the space to create within editorials, it is weddings like this that stay with me. The opportunity to bring that same studied approach into a real day—guided by feeling, shaped by coastal light, and grounded in what is true to the couple.

This is where it becomes something more.

Some moments arrive before the day itself.

This editorial, set in Boston and layered in spring bloom, became an experience of what it feels like to be seen together—fully present, guided just enough, yet entirely their own.

They’re marrying in Newport next year, but this felt like a quiet prelude. A way to step into the rhythm of it. To understand how their connection translates, how it lives within a frame.

Spring has a way of doing that—offering a glimpse of what’s about to unfold.

Love getting together with a creative team of photographers and get creative in different ways! Thanks for joining us everyone who attended our .e_collective annual event!

Some weddings stay with you differently. This one always will.

To witness two of my closest friends, Matt and Amanda, step into marriage was already something I’ll carry with me forever. To stand beside Amanda as a bridesmaid and my husband Brian next to Matt as a groomsman, and then step behind the camera to preserve it all, felt deeply personal in a way words rarely reach.

Last year, in the midst of Matt’s state trooper training, they chose one another in a day so profoundly rooted in faith, family, and prayer. Every part of it felt like a testament—not only to their love, but to the life they are building with God at the center.

There was so much tenderness woven throughout the day. The kind that comes from being known, loved, and surrounded by the people who have walked with you through every season.

Seeing their wedding now featured on Wedding Chicks feels especially meaningful because this day was never about the feature. It was about witnessing a union that felt sacred.

A day I had the honor of standing within and preserving at once.
