Friends of Hitchcock Parks is inviting residents, families, and local businesses to become annual members. Your dues go straight into the parks you already use: improvements, beautification, recreation upgrades, and the projects still ahead.

Every membership helps keep Hitchcock's parks safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for kids, families, seniors, and visitors alike.

We're a nonprofit, so dues and additional contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law — you'll receive a donor acknowledgment and tax receipt for your records.

It’s official. The Friends of Hitchcock Parks has received notification of approval of the 501c3 application for our organization.

The Friends of Hitchcock Parks officers will be the appointed officers of the Hitchcock Parks Board.

Currently Serving:

Jack Click - Chairman
Katrina Knight - Vice Chairman
Keith Coffman - Secretary/ Treasurer

Tracy Kadlecek - Parks Board member will be overseeing the Keep Hitchcock Beautiful affiliate that will be housed under this organization.

The Keep Hitchcock Beautiful will coordinate Community Clean Ups, Tree Planting, Community Beautification Awards and Education and Outreach.

We are looking for some big things to happen for 2026 - 2027 at Hitchcock parks. Like, Share and Join us to make things happen.

Happy 4th of July.

Progress on the TXDOT sidewalk project is ongoing, with a tentative completion date for the Good Ole Days park expected in early October.

The Hitchcock Parks board has established a 501c3 organization, Friends of Hitchcock Parks, to host park events, secure donations, and offer volunteer opportunities. How do you wish to get involved?

Continued progress on the TXDOT sidewalk project. Currently working its way down Delany Road toward Hwy 6.

As the new sidewalk progresses through the Good Ole Days grounds, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to Shawn Kadlecek for leveraging his woodworking skills to upgrade our refreshment booth. It has been successfully dried in and looks outstanding. Shawn Kadlecek

Mobile food distribution coming to Hitchcock.

Continued improvements in the Park. Thru a With a TXDOT grant a 10 ft walking trail will work its way thru the park and continue along Hwy 6 and make its way down Delany.

The grant will also improve the intersection of Hwy 6 and Delany Road.
