Omg!!! It’s been such a long time since I have been on Facebook. So long that I’ve finally gained access back to my account. Life has gotten so busy for us, these past few years, including a new little miracle baby added to our family. I definitely shut down, and went into rediscovery & recovery mode. Sometimes you have to disconnect from all the noise and outside forces to ground yourself or even unlock some things in your life, your relationship with God and your mind. This past year hiatus from social media and public eye has definitely been awakening, painful, frightening, reflective, transformative, revealing, and humbling. I thank God for it all, the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly. It was definitely worth it because though I thought that my spiritual vision was clear, God exposed so much more to me in my down time. Now it’s time for a shift in gear, because God’s about to do and unlock some amazing things in my and my family’s lives! However I will continue to praise God through it all!!

We can still make the best of our children’s birthdays while quarantining. Just make it fun, and worthwhile! My son loves parties, especially birthday parties. On his first birthday, I went all out and threw him a very big and fun Little Prince birthday party, at our neighborhood clubhouse with a Photobooth, magician, and a balloon and face painting lady. Last year he shared cupcakes with his class, dad, and I and it was everything thing to him on his second birthday.
Just knowing what your kids loves the most from them just simply singing a theme song of their favorite tv shows, and their frequent requests to watch certain ones. This year we had fun dancing and singing to the theme song of the PJ Masks while wearing the masks and sort of getting into character, and binge watched all three seasons on Netflix! The simple things in life impresses children more. However, as an event and wedding planning mommy, I do tend to go beyond their expectations.
