Eric and Abigail met though a Christian dating app. Eric was living in Tyler, Texas and Abigail in Houston, Texas. Being 3 hours away from each other was not easy but they made it work. One weekend Eric would drive 3 hours to Houston and the next Abigail would drive 3 hours to Tyler. During the week, when they were not together, they would text and call each other. Their relationship consisted of dates, game nights, family time, visiting the country and city, bible studies, binge watching shows, trying new food places, and mini trips! On the day they made a year of dating, Eric took Abigail to that same park by the lake (where he first asked her to be his girlfriend) and asked her to marry him. Their engagement has been beautiful with many blessings.
