When I’m shooting a wedding I like to say that I fit in like an extra member of your wedding party! My goal is for you to feel comfortable around me just like I’m one of your lifelong friends 😇 This approach helps me capture authentic and candid moments. Being in front of the camera can be nerve wrecking, that’s why it’s so important for you to like and feel comfortable with your photographer. After all, we are the vendor that you’ll spend the most time with on your wedding day! Some of my favorite moments as a couple and wedding photographer are experiencing when someone goes from being “awkward” in front of the camera to enjoying theirselves and seeing how good the pics come out!

Do you have to do a first look to get good pictures?
No!

But you need to be intentional with picking a ceremony time that allows for good lighting during all the portraits afterwards! Simple concept that can sometimes be tricky to execute. My biggest recommendation is to ask your photographer if the ceremony time makes sense before you send out invites!
